Happy July! I can't believe the summer is passing so quickly. We are having a great summer and I hope you are too — and today we're kicking off another special week here at Remodelaholic! A few times a year, we pick a theme and bring in some of our favorite bloggers to do a bunch of projects around that theme (which have previously included pallets, headboards, wall art, doors, windows, IKEA hacks, tables, and plywood projects). So this week our theme is 2x4s and other structural lumber, because we LOVE getting creative with the strong and affordable common boards to make projects that are functional with some flair.

Just like we did for our Pallets Aplenty and Plywood Pretty theme weeks, we're starting this week off with a CHALLENGE — what can you build from structural lumber? We gathered a great group of bloggers to get the week started, and we want to see YOUR projects at the link party below, too.
All these challenge projects are at least 85% structural lumber, and my oh my, I'm so impressed at the creativity!
