Here at Remodelaholic we love all things home decor and DIY, but we also love RECIPES. While we will continue to share our latest and greatest remodeling projects we want to start sharing some really yummy recipes once a week. Enjoy the recipes and know that we are still Remodelaholics.
It's hard to believe fall has already arrived! If you're not quite ready for all things pumpkin-spice, whip up this easy (and delicious) key lime pie dip. It's the perfect transitional dessert or snack to enjoy during these first few weeks of fall as we say goodbye to summer.
This recipe is so simple to make. It's easy to put together quickly to bring to a family party or church event. All you need is cream cheese, vanilla, sugar, a lime, and graham crackers. Be sure to also have a citrus juicer and microplane zester on hand.
Honestly, who can resist the tangy taste of key lime pie? We certainly can't! It's a crowd-pleasing dessert or snack that tastes like you spent hours in the kitchen when you really only have to spend minutes. Enjoy this yummy treat no matter the season.
We hope you love this easy key lime pie dip as much as we do. Just try not to eat the whole bowl in one sitting (trust us, it's a little too easy to do).
- 1 8 oz package of cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp lime juice
- 2 T sugar
- Zest of 1 lime
- First, zest the lime and then juice it. Add 1 tsp of lime juice and the lime zest with the other ingredients into a medium-size bowl. Mix all ingredients together with a fork until smooth. Serve with animal or graham crackers.
- As an extra garnish, add a slice of lime and graham cracker crumbles.
