This is a super easy recipe to make at home, but easy doesn’t mean tasteless, quite the opposite! This recipe is packed with flavor and supercharged with nutrients. And between you and I, this could pretty much beat any other chicken soup recipe on the planet. Yes, that’s how delicious it is.
The secret to making it so flavorful is that it has a crazy delicious number of seasonings. We are using honey, and sugar and soy sauce, and rice vinegar and green onions and obviously the chicken and a healthy dose of sriracha for the spicy kick. All these things slowly simmered make this soup that tastes straight out of a restaurant.
I like to think of this Spicy Korean Chicken Soup recipe as an excellent base; it’s one of those recipes that you can use over and over again and always add something different to create an entirely different soup.
Some days I leave it as is (because it’s super delicious) but other days I add noodles to make it more filling, or maybe some spinach or some chopped carrots for a dose of veggies. Sometimes I like to swap the chicken from shrimp or beef, so this varies a lot according to what I have in my fridge or what I’m craving.
If you want, leave it like this or change things up a bit, I know that this Spicy Korean Chicken Soup is going to become a staple in your home.
