I wanted to share something a little more personal today!

It is the Christmas season and I love this time of year so much!    I really love how the spirit of Christmas changes people’s actions and softens their hearts.  I love how the early dark nights bring us into our warm cozy home with our family, and how thankful I feel to be blessed with a home.   I love cooking warm soups and decorating Christmas treats with my daughters and giving them to our friends!  I enjoy the thrill of finding special gifts for those I love.  And one of my favorite things at Christmas, is listening to Christmas music… (so much so that I usually start around October 1st).  It is the best way to make the season last and bring in a calm loving spirit into my home. 

There is a really cool program that my church has for the holiday season called #lighttheworld with 25 days of ideas for living more like the Savior did.   The idea is to bring yourself closer to the true meaning and reason for Christmas and that is Christ.

Today’s goal is to worship through song, and I recently heard this AMAZING song and it makes me cry every time!  I hope you enjoy it and the spirit it brings.
