Welcome to the NEW YEAR!!! Are you busy making resolutions? Or organizing your house like me? I’m trying to get it together but it is taking longer than I want! For the first Friday Favorites of 2018, we’ve got some cute stuff. Sliding barn doors are so fun, and we love a good alternative way to use a sliding door, like on a bookcase. Plus, more gorgeous rooms and ideas to get your going for the new year.
Favorite Sliding Door Idea: Worthing Court has this smart sliding door bookcase in her office. I love that there is an option to cover up part of your bookcase storage. Smart! Perfect for organizing.
Favorite Guide to Organizing: Speaking of organizing, Pottery Barn (affiliate link) has an amazing guide to organizing. Maybe if I take the tips it has, I will get my house organized more quickly. What are your organizing tips?
Favorite Vintage Chair: Dazzle While Frazzled found this adorable vanity chair and remade it for a desk chair for her daughter. I love the design on the chair.
Favorite Repurpose: The Boondocks Blog used this old tub for a new purpose. I can think of so many ways this little washing tub could be repurposed. So useful! So smart!
Favorite Cake Smash Setup: My Champagne Taste put together this adorable vintage travel cake smash. I can’t get over how adorable these are. I love the decorations, the cake, the babies. I mean why can’t I have a cake smash for my next birthday 
Favorite Doggie Bed: Built-ins are a major favorite around here. So this doggie bed built-in has our hearts! What doggie wouldn’t be at home here?
Favorite Bunk Room: This would be so fun for slumber parties, visiting family and just for a regular room. Custom beds are so gorgeous and functional because it looks pretty hard to fall out of the top bunk!
Favorite Color Combo: Navy, gold, white. Yes! Why haven’t I been using this in my living room? What is your favorite part of this room?
