Favorite space to inspire me to do *something* in our master bedroom: This lovely master bedroom makeover by Brian and Kaylor (from the link party). Love the different elements and how they come together so nicely!
Favorite geeky chic kids room: This Star Wars themed nursery featured on Apartment Therapy — all the theme without being over the top!
Favorite fun kids bed: This tent-shaped bed at Hello Bowsers — the whole room is gorgeous, and the bed is a trundle and a DIY job at that. Amazing!
Favorite nearly-free organizing idea: These easy (and cheap!) DIY clip on desk organizers from Brit + Co. Inexpensive clips + recycled containers = pretty darn brilliant.
Favorite “make one for me and one for mom” gift idea: These easy “faux” photo canvases from Designer Trapped in Lawyer’s Body — cheap and easy, plus a “why didn’t I think of that” trick for making them look like real photo canvases!
Favorite white kitchen (of the week ;): Christina Applegate’s white kitchen makeover featured on House Beautiful. Yeah, I could live there and be pretty darn happy. Still drooling over the banquette!

Newest favorite cabinet color: Cobalt blue (Benjamin Moore’s Champion Cobalt, to be exact), featured in this slideshow by House Beautiful. All the other colors are beautiful, too (and see this post here for more ideas) but this blue just makes me happy!
Favorite built-it organizing idea: This great toy organizer with both shelves and bins over at Rogue Engineer. And wouldn’t it be nice to pare back the toys until ALL the toys fit on the 2 shelves and in the 2 bins? #Iwillkeepdreaming
Favorite “faux” front furniture: This tall beautiful number, a faux printer’s cabinet by Pneumatic Addict Furniture. It’s also a great place to store blankets (see more ideas here) and so many things — games, craft supplies, even appliances if you need more pantry space. Beautiful!
